Mazda Used Car Deals and Buying Tips

Mazda Cars

Originally set up as a manufacturer of tools, drilling equipment, and eventually motorcycles, Mazda introduced its first car in 1960.

The car that Mazda, a Japanese manufacturer, initially introduced was a two-seater micro-car powered by an air-cooled V-twin engine. So popular was this car, 20,000 sold the first year. Two years later Mazda introduced the P-360, a somewhat larger version with four doors.

Eventually, Mazda moved into the family car market. Its first rotary-engine based car was the Cosmo 110S coupe, which was also the first mass-produced rotary-engined car ever introduced. The engine was so successful that the rotary option was introduced in all other Mazdas. Eventually, due to cost, the rotary engines were taken out of Mazdas except for the upmarket and sporting models, such as the 626 and RX-7.

Today, Mazda continues to make sports cars as well as family vehicles, SUVs, and people carriers. Visit the following websites to learn more about Mazda vehicles and to compare model features and options.
