The Mercury Eight was the first model introduced, and was so popular that it sold more than 70,000 cars the first year it was introduced.

Today there is a Mercury to fit just about any need, from small fuel- efficient vehicles to larger family-sized vehicles, from SUVs to people carriers. Mercury still has the reputation for being a solid American car that appeals to the middle-class looking for a few extras.
